Motogadget's glassless mirror series mo.view presents a world-first. The special feature of these mirrors is the patented mirror surface, which is worked directly from the metal of the body. The aluminium itself is the mirror surface allowing for a very thin and light, weightless design with no rim or frame. There is no glass to break!
The convex mirror surface is manufactured by fly-cutting using diamond tools on ultra-precision machines in Berlin. It is then made resistant to oxidation, corrosion and abrasion by a complex plasma coating in a vacuum.
The mirror body, mirror arm and the clamp for the handlebar end are milled from solid aluminium on CNC-machines and anodised to a high quality. All screws are made of stainless steel. The precision ball joint provides very smooth and stable adjustment of the mirror.
The mirror can be mounted at the handlebar end or inwards of your controls, positioned above or below the handlebar. The small arm can be swiveled. The mirror is suitable for both left and right side. Mounting is directly on the handlebar (both 7/8" and 1" diameter) or via the the mo.view bar adapter (sold separately) in the event there is no space on your bars.
The size of the mirror surface does not comply with the StVZO and it has no ECE marking.
Cleaning: use a mild cleaning agent and a microfibre cloth to remove dirt, dust and other residues from the surface of the mirrors. Avoid abrasive cleaning agents that could damage the surface.
